The Coimbatore Bakers Meet 2024 (TCBM 2024), organized by Taya Sugarcrafts, on 30th of August concluded with great success, bringing together a vibrant community of home bakers, pastry chefs, and baking enthusiasts. The day began with an inspiring keynote session by Mrs. Sowmya, the founder of Taya Sugarcrafts that set a positive tone for the event. Following this, participants attended the “Get Your Postures Right” session, where they learned valuable tips on maintaining a healthy posture while baking — ensuring both efficiency and well-being in the kitchen.
The next session was about photography setup. Artist Nikkitha Kumaran led this engaging demonstration, teaching attendees how to photograph their baked creations to enhance their social media presence. The session provided practical insights into setting up photography for showcasing baked goods in the most elegant and appealing way.
The event continued with the Fundamentals of Cake Decorating session, led by artist Praneet. Attendees honed their cake decorating skills, learning new techniques and refining their creativity in this demo session.
Participants enjoyed a delightful lunch, which provided an opportunity to network and discuss the morning’s sessions. Post-lunch, artist Riddhima Mathur led an interactive bread-making demonstration titled “How About Some Baking?” — a session that explored the art and science behind crafting the perfect loaf.
The afternoon’s focus shifted to the business side of home baking, with an interactive sessio by Karthika Shravanti. This insightful discussion gave home bakers essential tools and strategies to transform their baking hobby into a successful business, helping many aspiring entrepreneurs in the audience.
The day’s events culminated with a forum discussing the future of home baking. Attendees engaged in lively conversations about trends, challenges, and opportunities in the evolving home-baking industry.
